Andrew Cobham

Owner / Head Of Goaltender Development

With over 30 years of coaching experience, Andrew has developed a profound understanding of the game of hockey, particularly when it comes to honing the skills of goalies. His extensive background allows him to analyze the nuances of goaltending, teaching aspiring players not only the fundamentals but also advanced techniques that can elevate their performance on the ice.

He emphasizes the importance of positioning, angles, and mental toughness, crafting individualized training regimens tailored to each goalie's strengths and areas for improvement.

Cobsy's passion for the sport is evident in his commitment to fostering a supportive environment, where young athletes can grow both technically and personally. Through his mentorship, many goalies have transformed their game, achieving not just success on the ice but also a deep love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.

Ty has been coaching since 15 and playing since 6 years old. Ty began his hockey career with the Kanata Blazers up until he began his next chapter in his hockey career with the Ottawa Valley Titans . In Ty's first year as a Titan, he worked with Cobsy, as he was a mentor for Ty and his development as a goalie back in 2019-20.

After the Covid season with the Titans, he was drafted 9th round in the CCHL draft by Carleton place and made the next step to U18 with a new organization. Ty has been a goalie for 11 years and is still playing hockey for 12 years now, looking to get a division 1 scholarship in the states after his junior career.

He is also looking to build his coaching background and continue learning from Cobsy and other mentors. Ty wants to continue making a difference with coaching youth hockey players, giving each and every goalie an opportunity to achieve their goals.
