Andrew Cobham

Owner / Head Of Goaltender Development

With over 30 years of coaching experience, Andrew has developed a profound understanding of the game of hockey, particularly when it comes to honing the skills of goalies. His extensive background allows him to analyze the nuances of goaltending, teaching aspiring players not only the fundamentals but also advanced techniques that can elevate their performance on the ice.

He emphasizes the importance of positioning, angles, and mental toughness, crafting individualized training regimens tailored to each goalie's strengths and areas for improvement.

Cobsy's passion for the sport is evident in his commitment to fostering a supportive environment, where young athletes can grow both technically and personally. Through his mentorship, many goalies have transformed their game, achieving not just success on the ice but also a deep love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.

Ty has been immersed in the game his entire life - starting hockey at six years old and stepping into coaching by the age of fifteen, His playing career began with the Kanata Blazers AA program, before moving on to the Ottawa Valley Titans AAA where he continued to elevate his game. During his first season with the Titans (2019-2020), Ty worked closely with Cobsy, who played a key role in his development as a young goaltender.

Ty was selected in the 9th round of the CCHL Draft by the Carleton Place Canadians, marking the next step in his hockey journey. Now entering his 13th year in the game, Ty continues to push toward his goal of earning a Division 1 scholarship in the United States.

Alongside his playing career, Ty is passionate about coaching and building his skill set as a instructor. He is committed to learning from Cobsy to expand his coaching foundation. Ty's mission is to make a meaningful impact on young goaltenders - helping each athlete unlock their potential and work toward achieving their goals on and off the ice.

Currently Ty plays with the Rockland Nationals Jr. A in the Central Canada Hockey League
