For more than 30 years, Andrew "Cobsy" Cobham has been dedicated to the development of goaltenders throughout the Ottawa hockey community. His passion for the position and commitment to athlete development have helped goalies of all ages and skill levels build confidence, improve performance, and achieve their goals both on and off the ice.

Throughout his coaching career, Andrew has worked with goaltenders ranging from first-year youth players to elite-level athletes competing at higher levels of hockey. his coaching philosophy is built on the belief that successful goaltenders are developed through a combination of technical skill, hockey IQ, athletic movement, mental performance, leadership, and charcater.

This philosophy became the foundation of the COBSYS Goalie Development Pathway, a structured development system focused on six core pillars.

Andrew's goal is not simply to improve a goalie's performance for their next game. His mission is to provide athletes with a long-term development roadmap that helps them build confidence, maximize their potential, and become complete goaltenders.

Ty Ferguson

Lead Goalie Coach

Ty has been immersed in the game his entire life - starting hockey at six years old and stepping into coaching by the age of fifteen, His playing career began with the Kanata Blazers AA program, before moving on to the Ottawa Valley Titans AAA where he continued to elevate his game. During his first season with the OVT (2019-2020), Ty worked closely with Cobsy, who played a key role in his development as a young goaltender.

Ty was selected in the 9th round of the CCHL Draft by the Carleton Place Canadians, marking the next step in his hockey journey. Now entering his 13th year in the game, Ty continues to push toward his goal of earning a Division 1 scholarship in the United States.

Alongside his playing career, Ty is passionate about coaching and building his skill set as a instructor. He is committed to learning from Cobsy to expand his coaching foundation. Ty's mission is to make a meaningful impact on young goaltenders - helping each athlete unlock their potential and work toward achieving their goals on and off the ice.
